A Pretty Pair

Weeks ago while browsing through other quilting blogs I saw this qenius idea. Using these gloves that you can find in Home Depot or other such stores. Well the verdict was that the gloves were not very attractive, but they have little grippers on the fingers and palms to help hold the quilt while quilting. Browsing through gardening stuff I found a pretty pair! These gloves, though for gardening, also have those sticky little grippers that help you hold the quilt. I LOVE them!

No Picnic today!

I have finally finished my Picnic Quilt top. But there will be no picnicking today...only panicking. This is by far the largest quilt top I have pieced, it is so intimidating the thought I quilting it! So instead I will post some pictures of what my picnic looks like now.

Something For Me

It is no secret that the last few projects have all been gifts. I finally have gotten around to making myself a "strawberry treat". I loved the table topper in Camille Roskelley's book Simplify. If you haven't picked up this book it is definitely a beautifully laid out book with fantastic patterns. So I finally used my Strawberry Fields charm pack to treat myself to this beautiful table topper.

Finished quilted product coming soon!
