Possibilities

I have loads of fun new fabrics; honeybuns, fat quarters, charm packs, and jelly rolls, all waiting for me. I LOVE the possibilities of what they will become!

I fell in love with Strawberry Fields before it was available. I have big plans to make this into a table topper!

This fabric, Tailor Made by Cosmo Cricket, I specifically bought to make a thread catcher/pincushion. Once I opened it up, I realized I wanted to buy more. I love this floral.Happy Camper Honeybun....must become a picnic blanket!

Lovely by Sandy Gervais....so many possibilities!

Turning a corner!

I have been working for quite some time on this table runner. I have spent way too much time pulling out stitches and trying to perfect it. All because it's for my mother and I know she'll be checking for mistakes. I am following the pattern from Moda Bake Shop; Turning Corners. Late last night I decided that I would make it reversible. I had all of these lovely little scrapes left over from the pinwheels. Today, I finally got around to quilting it! Maybe tomorrow I'll be lucky enough to bind it.

I love the back side as well....even though it meant some extra time piecing!

Pinwheels and Prairie Points for a Princess

A few months ago I bought a bundle of Riley Blake's Sweet Divinity. The fabric is so beautiful! Ever notice how great a project turns out when you LOVE the fabric. Right away I decided to use this to make a baby quilt for a new little girl who will be joining us at the end of the month. This was my first time making pinwheels AND prairie points. I'm pretty proud.

Sew and Tear

I have spent the morning/day now sewing and then tearing out stitches in my new table runner! My mother chose this fabric Moda Wrapped in Paisley. I really wanted this to be perfect so I have been playing this game ALL day! Finally I have the corners matched up as well as they are going to be...now to find/buy material to back and bind!

Here we are ready to be finished:

The runner is actually double this size!
