Part II The Shops and People!

Being completely focused on my log cabin quilt, I almost forgot to finish posting about my trip to Vermont! I LOVED each shop we visited and really enjoyed the group of women who came to the event...they call themselves the Vermoms!

Our first stop was Waterwheel House Quilt Shop. Here are a couple of The Vermoms; Michelle and Laura. The little sewer is Michelle's daughter (Kyla...I think). I'm not sure what Vermont children are called. The dad's are called Vermen hahahahaha!

The second stop was lunch and more shopping at Country Treasures. This place was HUGE! Really it was all I could do to stop myself from spending my summer funds! On the front porch of the shop are all the Vermoms who came; Michelle, Abi, Kristina and Laura.

Just when I thought I couldn't spend anymore money we ended our trip at Norton House.

And of course no fabric buying trip is complete without a dancing lobster!

  1. Jill, it was so nice to meet you! That was such a great day! (Also, my aunt did work at your elementary school -- weird coincidence, right?!). :)
